Event START
[The intercom opens up to the sound of a squeaky, piping voice...singing! This is like Disney Princess style song, guys, except the voice's incredibly high pitch can be a bit painful to the ears.]
La la la la la la laaa~
Fluffums, do you mind?
[It's clear that Fluffums doesn't mind, because he keeps singing.]

[There's a crash, and a bang, and then a few moments of utter silence.]
[Until the speaker (ostensibly NOT Fluffums) rather awkwardly clears his or her throat, and continues onward.]
AHEM...well, as you may have guessed from that...lovely...serenade...the Infinite Improbability Drive has been activated! We're anticipating arrival at our next destination in roughly 96 hours, and once we get there, we'll let you know what that is!

On the topic of Drive Events...
× For the duration of the event, if you choose to typecast your character as a fairy tale archetype, your character may inherit powers and abilities related to said archetype. A nefarious, evil sorcerer will inherit sorcerer powers, such as cursing unwary passersby with little to no provocation. A pretty, pretty princess may inherit a glorious singing voice and the ability to forge friendships with adorable woodland creatures. These are just examples, of course. Feel free to expand on them and create your own beautiful story!
× Some locations on the Thor will change to reflect the fairy tale setting, and some locations will, as always, remain unchanged for those who would prefer not to participate in the event.
The event starts NOW and will run through late o'clock Friday, May 31st, at which point June's planet will be announced, and at which point we should have a fairly good idea when we'll be able to post missions.

Once upon a time, there was a gargantuan turtle that traveled through space carrying an entire city full of people inside its shell. All of the people in that city worked and played, laughed and cried, and lived and loved, just like you and me. The difference, though, was that sometimes strange, inexplicable things would happen to those people, living in their improbable city inside a gargantuan turtle. Inexplicable, magical things.
A harmless looking apple might send an unwary eater into an enchanted slumber, only to be broken by love's first kiss. Young, attractive individuals on their way to grandmama's apartment might find themselves joined by The Big Bad Wolf. An utterly hopeless situation involving wicked step sisters and a missed ball may be remedied by a convenient deus ex machina Fairy Godmother.
Welcome to Grimm's Fairy Tales, Thor Style. (Anderson is OK too.)
Your character may find themself an unwitting witness to someone else's drama (PC or NPC), an unwitting participant in someone else's drama, or even an unwitting archetype cast as a fairy tale character in one of these dramas. Villains and princesses, heroes and princes, thieves and beggars and fairy godmothers and et cetera are all welcome. So is IC drama, and a resolution in which everyone lives Happily Ever After.
