[Is it that time again already? It's that time again already! The intercom clicks on, and a squeaky voice begins to speak!]
FIVE HUNDRED MILLION--!!!???
[there is a pause]
...The intercom is on, isn't it.
[There is a silence which might be indicative of a head-nod of affirmation.]
[And then a sigh.]
Greetings, residents of the Thor, this is your captain speaking! The Infinite Improbability Drive has been engaged, and we are currently en route to our next destination. As always, we'll let you know what that is as soon as we do.
[And that's all she wrote.]

× On the event:
× As a note, this is one of our occasional environment-only events; unless you're planning an age-up/down for your character independent of the main event, individual characters will not experience any strange side-effects, such as a temporary change of species, as a result of this event.
× If you're familiar with Animal Crossing, feel free to NPC canon characters (who doesn't want to take pot-shots at Tom Nook, for example?) -OR- have your character step into an NPC's role (who hasn't always dreamed of being a famous museum curator like Blathers?) Specific canon characters will disappear once the drive turns off (on the off chance someone somewhere may want to app one), but have fun with them for the duration!
And a couple miscellaneous things:
× Please don't forget to post to the Activity Check! We'll be starting our tallying on July 7th.
× The Room Upgrades & Promotions post is up in the OOC community - if you want your character to move floors or to get a wage increase, be sure to comment there before the 2nd!

On board the Thor the skies are blue, the clouds are white and fluffy, and fields of green stretch as far as the eye can see! Fruit trees and flowers dot the landscape, and...well, this is kind of weird, it seems all the NPC aliens have turned into animals? They're walking around making silly observations and remarks and handing out second-hand shirts and furniture. Weird.× As always, in addition to the event created by the drive, players have option to temporarily age a character up or down while the drive is active. Since the Drive thrives on unpredictability, players are allowed to make up alternate, personal effects to hit their characters as well. Be creative, and have fun!
Affected PC rooms will become cozy houses for the duration of the event...the higher the housing level, the fancier the houses become, Animal Crossing style.
It's summertime in Thorville. Kick back, relax, and enjoy the warm sunshine, or grab a fishing pole and head down to the river. Take up your handy bug net to catch the various insects flying, buzzing, and crawling around the town. A shovel might unearth buried treasure (or maybe some fossils!), and your trusty watering can will keep the beautiful and bounteous flowers from wilting. Sell your catches for a tidy sum at the local Re-Tail store, or display them in your house and make all your friends wildly jealous!
